Biodegradable Alkaline Degreaser
General Description
DG-44 is an alkaline, water-based degreaser formulated from nonionic surfactants, chelators and penetrants, designed for general cleaning of all types of surfaces that are not affected by water. DG-44 is an excellent oil emulsifying degreaser with strengths varying with the degree of dilution with water. DG-44 is excellent for degreasing and decontaminating barges, ships, vats and all engine room maintenance, truck bodies and engines, and trailers.
Application
DG-44 can be applied by almost any means including mops, rags or spray equipment. Always allow solutions to penetrate before rinsing. Do not allow cleaning solutions to dry on surfaces before hosing or washing off.
Dilutions
DG-44 is a concentrated cleaner and should be diluted for best results as follows:
| Heavy | 1 part DG-44 to 3 parts water |
| Medium | 1 part DG-44 to 5 parts water |
| Light | 1 part DG-44 to 10 parts water |
Availability
DG-44 is available in UN approved 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
