General Description

CITRA-50 CLEANER PS is a concentrated, inhibited aqueous citric acid solution (50% anhydrous basis), suitable for use in industrial cleaning applications. When diluted to the proper use concentrations CITRA-50 CLEANER PS solutions are very effective in the removal of metal oxide deposits in power plant boilers, dehydration units, heat exchangers and various types of heat transfer systems.

CITRA-50 CLEANER PS solutions are very effective in de-rusting equipment, tanks and flow lines. CITRA-50 CLEANER PS, as provided, does not contain any aqua ammonia. CITRA-50 CLEANER PS is safe to use in cleaning multi-metal systems containing carbon steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum.

 

Application

Starting point dilution’s for CITRA-50 CLEANER PS should range from a low of 2% by weight of acid to as high as 10% by weight of acid. In most cases, best results are obtained when heat of 150º - 180º F is applied, however, if when used at ambient temperatures, just allow addition time for the cleaning process to be completed.
